2011 Nürburgring 24 Hours

The last yeasr they have shown live-pictures all the race, but a lot of it has been a standing camera at the end of the start/finish-straight. They have shown live footage from around the track when it has been live on TV (the same pictures I presume). This year it seems to be more live on TV than previous years, hopefully this reflects on the website aswell :)

Though not sure if these will work for all out there.
Here are some live Feeds
For this weekends 24 hrs Race on the Green hell/Nürburgring.

There are two norwegian teams this year (three, if you count in the two norwegians in one of the Schubert-BMW's). Møller Bil Motorsport in an Audi TT in SP3T (#149), and Tectylsenteret Motorsport in a Honda Civic in N2 (#246).

A funny point - Olof Manthey is managing 7 cars this year! And the same crew of Lieb, Dumas, Bernard and Luhr in two of them

Today at 14:00 GMT one of the most exciting endurance races for GT's and touring cars of the year takes place on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. For 24 hours over 700 drivers and more than 200 cars will test their durability, skills and nerves on the 25 km long track.

We have tried our best to get an official live stream coverage here on the site but unfortunately it seems that the organization is a bit allergic to publicity as the request was denied. Makes you wonder why promoters keep complaining about the huge amount of illegal live streams that cover motorsport every weekend.

But let this small disappointment not push you away from the monstrous VLN event. The first five VLN races of 2011 were won by a factory-entered BMW, a GT3-class Mercedes SLS, a new Ferrari 458, the Hybrid Porsche GT3 and finally an Audi R8 LMS, so at least these five different brands are expected to challenge for the overall win in the 24 hours.

You can find the official webstream channels here and here and awesome in car live camera footage by of Audi Motorsport here. Enrich the experience with a live GPS map here or with live commentary of Radio Le Mans here.

Chat with us about the race by leaving your comments below or in our dedicated thread on the forum.

Just checked the entry list and it seems that GT5 guru Kazunori Yamauchi is driving as well

I think it's already his 3rd time, Bram.

Many great cars in the field, Ferrari P4/P5, Lexus LF-A, Opel Manta!(!) with Volker Strycek, Works Scirocco(LFS do want), Golfs and Minis, Mercedes SLS, Manthey Porsches and the Hybrid, BMWs, Audis, etc.

But you may know that already:)
