That was the final car with norwegians in it, Anders Buchard by the wheel at the crash... Apart from the second-positioned Honda Civic in N2, this has not been a good event for the norwegians.

@Ivo, man what is wrong with the track this weekend. Armco's and fences get crushed like they're not even there. Was the driver okay?

Believe so yeah.But its The Ring. And its not the safest track arround the world.If someone would make track like this tomorrow. It will be rejected on safety on all points i think.

Only one thing to do after a race like this - bow for the Nürburgring-genious Olaf Manthey ray:

Very good race Coverage is ok for Sports 1 yes they could do with somthing better for the full 24hrs Statics do not cut it for getting good viewing.

Missing the night action on the track is a big lose lots happend during the night in this race.

So they need a better deal in place for 2012 as I think the race is getting bigger with every passing year,the Merc Audi BMW Porsche Battle was good & not forgeting that Ferrari on pole & had a good start until hitting problems.

One of the best race I have ever seen, its a shame about the night coverage indeed. The battle at the end between the Merc and the Audi was superb.
