Can oversteer a tad bit exiting turn 5/entering turn 6 but i think thats just normal. Can easily control the car though. Either downshift one gear or let off the throttle a tad.

| Career and Multiplayer setup! |

Hey guys,
I saw some other setups of you guys, very nice! :)
This one is for the Multiplayer and the race in career of USA. (Dry)
- I play always on Legend. 25% races.

Every single detail can better. But this is not a TT setup. so everyone knows that your tires wear out, so maybe is this really fine for people who are don't know how to make a good setup for multiplayer and career. :)

So I know every car in career is different but if you have some trouble with this setup you can improve with some of the settings. Much oversteer? Change your rear anti roll bar. Trouble with top speed? Change your front and rear wing and your gearbox of course. etc.. etc.. :)
So good luck! And hope you like the setup. :D

I Know if your using a TT setup you will just get stuck with the gearbox, which not give you enough top speed without DRS

Q3: 1:39.699 (Options) (P2, 0.581secs behind P1)

I am certain you can get pole with this on Legend, because the game generated an incredible Q3 lap for Hamilton (I've noticed it just generates an amazing AI lap in qualifying every now and then). I also only did 2 laps in Q3 and both of them were really bad so there is an extra 2-3 tenths to be found by doing a good lap. Then you can probably get an extra 2-3 tenths by increasing 7th gear to max (318 in the Red Bull; I set it to 315 to get a compromise between qualifying and race speed). And you can probably get even more time if using a car with a higher top speed (e.g., McLaren or Ferrari).

So overall I think there is half a second to a full 1 second extra to be found from this setup. Maybe even more because most people who post here regularly are way better drivers than I am :geek:

Great setup I do 1:39:563 in career Q3 with gamepad logitech Dualshock :)

Notes
Man, this track if so tricky!

I spent at least a good 40-50 laps on it from my previous personal best, of a 1:38.606, only to improve by 34 thousandths of a second. Getting a good exit out of T1 and a good balance through the rest of the first sector is the ultimate key to a fast lap.

I could probably shave at least .500 a second off my time if I were to use the yellow banded softs, but instead im sticking true to life with the Medium (Option) and Hard (Prime) compounds.

I have a personal best of 1:38:915 with the Ferrari but unfortunately I don't have the setup anymore (maybe due to a corrupt save game).

Anyway, I'm really trying to go under 1:39 with the Toro Rosso (i like to try the racenet events) but it's impossible to beat me :p In the first 2 sectors I beat my old times preety badly but I loose everything I gain in the last sector. I have to say that the best lap time with the Ferrari is preety lame but I can't manage to beat it no matter what I try.

Has anyone got a good fast set-up for Red Bull in Austin on Xbox ?...I have tried one of the Red Bull set-ups up along the forums and got a 1.38.019 but want to get better...Anyone any help :)

As the pure been in the crowd...im using your sauber settings...ps3 controller in cockpit...and so ready for my lotus...you all may have forgotten the immensity of this game...but rolling over from gt5...seeing your times...you're monsters...monsters other thing...using gt5 set up on controller...love this game!
Just saying
I will keep reading and watching vids...this 54 year old child is hooked

dude the wheel is not an assist.. is just better feeling of the car

If we are of equal skill level and you use a wheel and I use a controller I'd 100% back you to beat me because they bottom line is that when the wheel is mastered it's far superior than a controller. I am saying indirectly it is an assist.

I agree with your sentiment though, we do all love racing and I am glad you responded in a positive manner rather than just abuse me for my opinion. :)

Notes
This isn't the most aggressive setup but its REALLY stable, pretty good on tyres and easy to drive with all assists off/cockpit cam with game pad. On legend got pole with high 1.38 and fastest race lap on prime, at very end, 1.41 and 1st place. There's more time to be found without changing the setup, I just cant get consistent fast laps with game pad lol.

FYI gearbox is setup so every corner is taken in exact same gear as real pole lap by seb so anyone who wants a head start on how to drive this go watch that lap on board ;)

Notes - If you find while under heavy braking into corners you are losing the front end try FW 11 RW 1 on Aerodynamics and try that setting until you get more confident going into corners. This happened to me and i found it helped until i got used to the track and braking distances then i dropped the wings back down to FW 2 RW 1.

Time Trail time - 1.35.122 Ranked 47 on Global leaderboard (Xbox360). Unofficially i did a 1.34.809 last night but due to my haste i got a corner cut on the second to last corner by my right front only just running over the red/white kerb :(
Note - I used exactly the same set up on Monza in Time trail and did a late 1.19. xx on my first lap.
