Thanks! First Manx comment... you could probably help me out ;^)
Hi! Great! I feel like trip. Please go on!
The track is incredibly fun to drive, I see this is a) an alpha version and b) a very long track but please keep working on it. A better looking environment would make this so much more desirable.

Working on it...
thers already an isle of man track but cut down gpl conversion, hopefully this isn't a rip
LesMacNeil
LesMacNeil
No rip, this is completely new, all my own work
4 stars for been your own track, lot of work to do. Texture of road itself must be one of the first thing to improved, it is actualy too smooth , not much FFB. It got a lot of potential. Nice work so far, keep at it and it will become a great track.

Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, that's one of the things I've played around with, but so far either I get billiard table smooth, or the car rattles like it's on roller skates. But it's definitely on the list to fix
It's a WIP but I like to drive on.
Thanks to share.
As you say, this is a massive workload you have taken. A good start, but it needs a lot of work around the track. Some buildings and trees are hovering above ground, and the grass needs another texture. But a good start!
It´s great!!!!!
Still addicted!

Hey is it just me or have my latest AI (v0.1.2) made the whole experience feel smoother and slightly grippier? Or perhaps detailed muscle-memory is finally happening and I'm imagining that...
That must be a hell of a task. Kudos for starting this from scratch. It is obviously far from finished, but it is promising. The real track is literally filled with houses and villages though.
I do have a problem with my car juddering left to right (in any view - all the time) and sometimes not responding so well to steering inputs. Something I never experienced on other tracks. I also had a few places where it felt like all contact with the road was gone ? Only for a second or so... (not on a crest).
And without the real scenery I have a big problem figuring out where I am on the track ;-)

Agreed about the scenery - near the top of my list is to put some kind of building everywhere there should be one. Later I'll get around to modelling them better. I also need to put in the corner boards, but I need to make them first...

As for the car juddering, I don't know if that's down to the physics limitations or something else. I'm not sure there's much I can do about it, sorry :^(
Thanks. ; )

On a good way, please go on! Hope for a 1.0 ;-)

An earlier version of this appeared on the official forums already sometime last year/earlier this year, didn't it? Really nice development, and going by the sheer size of the track its going fine. Don't expect Vallelunga style details on a track over 60km long guys ;)

Yeah, I've been working on this now since about May, when I put out a very basic layout to ask opinions on whether it was worth doing. The reaction was positive, and I'm enjoying building it. The novelty hasn't worn off though, I'm still looking to add bits here and there, and it's still the track I like most just to lap.
Fantastic, keep up the good work, what a drive :D
This is great, keep it up.

It's a mammoth task to fill out all the scenery. As mentioned already it's tricky to work out where you are. I wondered if it would help to put in the 30mph speed limit signs and the welcome to Ramsey etc... village signs as a quick fix. Also the track map wouldn't display for me, but that could be my end.

The mountain section is really nice (until I fell off it)...

Thanks! I'm working on the corner boards at the moment, which should help
Good start so far, though if you want to get the track to run in mp you need to rename the track folder from TT to tt, just a heads up :) I'll be watching this with interest!

I've still to fix a problem with the AI that makes most of the field dive off the course after 100m... so no MP for now, sorry
thx. .........
rated 4* because i am so happy to see the full course available for 4 wheels. :D
Great work so far! If I can suggest something the some point in the track when you can "slip out" the scenery and you need to revert back to the pit. There's something wrong in the collision system. This could be quite annoying in a 60Km long track :P

LesMacNeil
Thanks! Yeah, it really needs to have walls built in to avoid going off where you can't get back on. As it is you can pretty much go anywhere, but there's a tendency to drop through the scenery. It's on the list...
70km, but bad quality :(
