Probably not a good thing to admit too, but I didnt like the look this track at first. I recently looked at LA Canyon and saw a lot of potential. Coming back, the the latest version (of this) has vastly improved. I have been converted (for all that anyone really cares). Goes to show how much I know. Well done, its a great track.

That's totally fair enough mate, it would be a boring world if everyone liked the same things :) I'm currently "tweaking" the flow of Pacific to increase the experience, as I've learnt a few things with L.A. Canyons...
Add to this better terrain shaders/textures... and some serious optimising... and this version is half the version v1.0 will be ;)

Keep an eye on this one... There's plenty more to come.

While this now lies in the shadow of LA Canyons, it's still a really fun road to drive, thanks a lot!

Thanks Wesley, it may currently be in the shadows of LA Canyons, but seeing as Pacific Coast is 'only' 23km's....

LA Canyons, wasn't just ambitious, it was a test at how much Assetto can handle... That volume of scenery can therefore be condensed into the 'tiny' Pacific Coast area.

I'll have to leave you to imagine what that will be like for now, I already can see it very very clearly.

Fantastic work !
The track is clearly one of the best merging freeroam and race. It is really wonderful to beable racing in this kind of roads.

Only one regret : please keep the stucture when you update your track. With a different structure, all the previous times are lost because the track don't have the same name.

Thanks Sardokard! and yeah the folder rename is a shame.... But I had to do that as 1.0 and 0.95 are totally different... and a number of people were just overwriting the new files, into the old 'pacific_coast' folder (despite my instructions).... causing mismatches of the files... This rename is to prevent that mess from occuring en masse! Causing more unnecessary questions clogging my inboxes.

Also your previous times are probably no longer valid with the new roads, both visual and physical!
New grip levels, new road crown, changed banking etc etc etc!

Nice one mate :) You're lucky to have lived near this road then! Will be adding 3 or 4 CHP skins with 0.2 so police chases could be good :) AI are sorted now... They only go over a cliff... If you... Push them! lol Thanks for the support, appreciate it :)

Oh boy, I have been waiting so long for this, bet not alone. Brings back memories of driving the Jadranska Magistrala in Croatia, except in the game I can push a Corvette instead of my diesel wagon. I feel that the "restart session" button is going to get hot for a while. It is hard to compare 0.95 to 0.824 (previous version), basically everything has been improved. Most impressive for me is the road itself - much more natural to drive and better looking. You can't get enough of it. Models, textures, objects - all top quality. The place as a whole is very well recreated. It is simply a must have.

Keep having a blast, hope you learn the corners quickly.. to get the maximum out of them :)
I'd recommend something like the C7R while re-learning the corners that have changed (most of them)
