If you want to send a little something, there's an option with the Pacific Coast Extras Pack... But that's entirely optional. All support helps me keep the stores lights on... Cheers :)

Thanks for this awesome track. I've been following the progress and it is not disappointing!! I really love the way the new road feels. The extra roads to the mansion and the parking are so much fun. I hope the next improvements you are planning will make this track a legend ;)

You're very welcome mate, glad you're liking the progress... and that you've been following it.
The next improvements will be (after bug hunting) AI traffic, more scenery as in bushes... lots of bushes...
There's plenty more to come.

I'm glad you like the mansion road in particular... You'll notice a slight bump in the middle of those corners... That's intentional to unsettle the car mid way through the corner. The reason for this will be clear when it has the right static track cameras :)

You know it's awesome!
I'd like to make a suggestion: AC desperately needs a (mostly) straight route. This is fun, as well as LA Canyon, but both layouts are 99% identical (right turn, 15 meters, left turn). I'm talking about speeding without paying too much attention to the road. To lose yourself in the feeling of speed without cares. And -oh yeah- traffic.

And oh yeah.... PCH 1.0 has flawlessly working two-way traffic... (If my instructions are followed)

If you want straight roads, sorry... You're talking to the wrong man! I prefer making challenging tracks, that require true driver skill. Thanks for your suggestion though, but you'd be better suggesting that to someone else.

99% identical.... Nah... Totally disagree on that one! Between the two mods, there are around 90 MILES of roads in California... I doubt there are two corners that are identical!

First check your.... Issue... doesn't exist on other tracks.
If it doesn't, maybe dial back your Force Feedback, something is slightly wrong somewhere! :D

Don't contact a physician.... They're busy with more... pressing concerns at the moment.

This is the layer 2 base of the track... I still need to put another 3 layers in... that's why it's only 0.699. So I hope you enjoy where it goes to even more :)
I think the fundamentals are working pretty nicely now :)

Hi mate,

Read ALL the instructions provided as best you can. (text document)

But basically...

1) Remove ANY previous version (Including Pre-Release if you got it)

2) Download and install the main Pacific Coast 1.0 (only here on RD)
Just copy the 'content' folder to your Root Assetto Corsa folder

3) If you're interested in Traffic / Mansion, you can grab it here...

Just tested the 1.0 preview and man it's absolutely awesome. Beautifully made and a blast to drive. Hope this will be used for a lot of online servers to have some multiplayer fun here :)

Just tested this. Looks amazing as it is already. The track surface, which i was scared was gonna be completely flat, actually has feeling in FFB which is great. Of course the car is shaking at start and the end since AC's physics has a "range" where in the world center the physics is the calmest and the further away you get the more the car shakes. Im sure this will need proper LOD'ing on objects since you can see so far and only some will be able to drive it when its finished. But im really looking forward to the progress. This will be epic when we get the 918 Spyder and do a 6 hypercar chase on it. :) Keep it up!

Cheers for the feedback Alex... I didn't know about AC's physics range... Good to know mate. Yeah it will need proper LOD'ing... when I work out how to do that. At the moment I'm concentrating on getting the road and terrain so I'm happy with it. There will be a Levante, Mustang and Aventador Highway Patrol skins included in 0.2 coming soon! :)
