I'm uploading my mod I'm playing on.
The 3rd person cameras make it a completely different experience than the original.
All bikes in all classes, are finely tuned (even redbull rookies)
The mod only works for semi-pro and pro physics
Standard Physics only has added input damping (controller smoothing) and backfire effect (because AI uses standard).
I didn't want to interfere too much with the standard so that AI wouldn't freak out.
What you will find here:
1. Advanced Cameras Mod - two 3rd person cameras are driver focused
2. The cockpit and helmet camera is slightly moved back (for all motorcycle models)
3. More cameras in replay
4. Dynamic Lean Formula - completely reworked lean dynamics, harder to lean under the influence of speed, rider damp + fast inversion ( change of direction speed similar to MGP17)
5. minor changes like Backfire and a small SkidLeanFactor (vanilla has 0)
6. InputFIlter: added SteerDamp for Pad and the "move" (wheel?), reduced Damp for Keyboard.
update 1.1:
- Adjusted TCS (Smorzer & Threshold)
- Added high speed 3rd person camera shake, and cockpit shake (it's from SBK X, yes it works!)
- fine tuned everything
Here's ghetto preview:
How to install for version 1.000
1. go to MGP13 folder and backup DATA.MIX
2. extract my DATA.MIX you just downloaded to MGP13 folder
How to install for a version other than 1.000
1. download Mixfile Remixer
2. extract your DATA.MIX using Mixfile Remixer
3. overwrite your PHYSICS and CAMERAS directories with mine (sources in the archive)
4. pack overwritten DATA to DATA.MIX with Mixfile Remixer
the DLCs contain their own cameras, therefore the ones from DATA.MIX don't work...
I would share modified DLC files, but here I think the regulations forbid such practices, and unfortunately they are also large files.
