I didn't want to publish these cameras for GP17 because I think it's a very refined and successful version and I didn't want to show my inventions. However, several people asked me for it, so I'm posting what I did.
There are two versions in the package:
- custom physics + custom 3rd person cameras
- standard physics + custom cameras.
Cameras are "pseudo" rider focused ala Unreal Engine:
1st is custon Near
2nd is custom Mid
3rd is custom Far
*The screenshots below don't say much, they only show the resting position. All three have numerous camera modifiers, both velocity and tucked-in/out based. It took a while to make them all relatively intuitive in terms of control and feel.
I don't have the time or opportunity to record a nice demo at the moment, so if someone manages to do it, I can promote their channel here.
