This is fantastic. As a regular attendee of Goodwood (even when there are no major events I sometimes just pop along for a walk around), I can confirm that this is a pretty spot on recreation. Obviously, it is a WIP but it feels great to drive on and gives you confidence lap after lap. All we need now is for someone to make some pre-1966 cars for us to race

Thanks :) I'm dreaming about classic Jaguars and Maseratis... Lotus Cortina, 289 Cobras, Costin Coupe and other Listers... Yeah, much left to dream on haha

In VR with my motion platform and buttkickers this track really comes to life. Need a coffee after 10 laps in the Lola. My t500rs also gives very good feedback from this track. Nearest I`ll get to playing with the rich boys and their toys at the festival. LOL. 10 stars for this one .Keeper.

Thank you ! Yeah - right car and right track gives the right feeling :) I agree that this can bring close to revival, now can't wait for 250GTO this Tuesday ! :)

Thanks, I think so too. Aphidgod did physics for S1, also tweaked standard a little bit, will launch little update next weekend. Hopefully it will fit the grid of 908LH, GT40 and P4 rather nicely :)

Holy crackers!!! I've been waiting for this forever!!! Fantastic job mate. Been racing the old version for awhile and loved it. As Goodwood is such a fantastic track, I know I've been there in person! It appears to be just an air field perimeter basic track, but at 10/10ths not so easy. Cheers again for your work.

Thanks :) Yes, AFAIK, it wasn't even designed as the race track, it was just a road to communicate at the airfield with Spitfires parked around. But it has many elevation changes and kinks.... The kink at the Lavant Straight, for example, was designed in order to make harder to shoot Spitfires, which were parked there.

What a fabulous start to the creation of a wonderful race circuit. I already feel like I'm hooked on Goodwood. My first drive was with the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 and wow! this track feels incredibly bumpy! Fortunately, with the LiDAR data I know the surface is accurate and that's awesome. Please keep on making this the best you know how. I can see a lot of fun races for me on this track in the future.

Yeah this track might not be suited for such cars, and thats why they don't race there. However, there is a big discussion about the bumpyness, I think it should be close, some say it must be much smoother. I would agree about just a few spots, we'll see :) Yes, this track makes great races. But I hope people will stick with fitting cars for this track.

Really like the grass/track transition. Overall really nice to see a proper Goodwood in a proper sim. I think the flower textures around the track could use some improvement though (obviously the track's still WIP).

Yes, I'm not totally happy with flowers look, dafodils still gives away a bit of cardboard effect, and hortensia plants too. From usual angles dafodills are alright, though. By the way usually dafodils and hortensias aren't there at the same time, but I have chosen to have both for more color. Will have to think of ways to improve those things.

One bug, the AI tries to go through the pitwalls, making this map unpalyable in practice and qualif :(. Awsome early version, waaay better tahn the older one
