    Hi,

    New version comes in 2 hours. With Lensflares rainbeadfix. Extra folders for Igearzone 16 Mod without my lighting but with all detail.

    I have made a big mistake. The trackfolder is doubled. I have fixed it. That is abig bug for me. Sorry I was to tired to find that bug yesterday.


    For the new version you can overwrite the original trackfolder now.


    Warning do not install the system folder their is a failure in the file. I will fix it as soon as possible. their is something wrong with the gamma correction.

    Use a Gamma of 0.8 or 0.9 for best visuals.

    Use this mod it is a new experience. Because the cars looking more real and the cams are much better. You feel more the track with this mod.

    In the future screens I can use his carmodels.


    this is the beta of my complete graphics overhaul for F1 2014.
    The game looks absolutely awesome with all the hidden details. I have edited the complete postprocessing folder. The engine can use downsampling for effects. With the ornament atributes, tree atributes and route overrides file in the tracks folder I have edited the trackdetails and pushing all to the max. This old engine looks not old with all details.
    Tracks like Abu Dhabi, Hungaroring, Suzuka, Brazil, Monza Bahrain, Sepang and Spa looking absolutely stunning. But the other tracks too.
    The Game looks better as Grid Autosport from Codies. The drawing distance is much higher as the one of F1 2015.
    Thanks codies for those amazing details on some tracks.
    The lighting is although completely edited.

    But it´s beta because of one bug. The rainbeads on the helmet looks to blurry. I must look for this bug. For the releaseversion I erase the bug. I´m sure.

    It gives other versions of postprocessing

    - with better godrays and more sunglare
    - with less glare
    - a default mod version
    - and a darker postprocessing version

    Features of the mod:

    - graphic instance buffer optimizations for better performance with high lod
    - new lighting with more effects and natural colours
    - very high drawing distance for all tracks

    - new glareless lighting for shanghai
    - breaking light
    - sky hazing effect
    - using of the postprocessing tracktextures of F1 2013

    For the releaseversion I want to shake the leaves of the trees a bit. But not to strong. Just a little.

    When you can play F1 2015 on max setting this modded F1 2014 runs like hell. I have a nearly high end system I can not say how it works on lower systems

    -bugs: rainbead bug on cam.

    You can use other cool postprocessing texture mods like my favorite improved lighting. It´s no problem

    One Month working around tthe clock with sleepless nights.

    Keep on racing ;) THX for the inspiration to make this mod on the german site F1 Pole. They have made a really good season weather mod for F1 2013.

    Install Instructions:

    Make a backup of your trackfolder. The default postprocessing folder and the frontend folder is in the upload files but the trackfolder is to big.

    Copy the postprocess, frontend system and trackfolder in your game directory of F1 2014. Default: C:\program files\Steam\SteamApps\common\F1 2014

    They are optional files to change the lighting. Look in this folder and copy the version you like in the game folder and overwrite the postprocess and frontend folder.

    When you want the original postprocessing and the more detailed tracks install only the tracks and frontend folder

    Thats all.

    Ok folks here is an instruction how to use my lighting with F1 2016 Sim from I Gearzone 16. The detail is much higher with the Gearzone 16 mod. Copy all from part two from IGearzone 16 without the trackfolder in your main game directory. Then copy all without the trackfolder from part 1 in your main directory. Now you can copy all of my mod in the gamefolder. Copy the basewind 2 files from I Gearzone in all tracks. Copy the groundcover from I Gearzone 16 Mod in all tracks.

    Now you can start and you will see the highest drawing distance and highest detail in any cargame on your screen. No Popins. It is the best Formula 1 Experience that you can have. I´m sure. F1 2015 looks like crap. It´s the wow effect. absolutely stuning. Thanks for this really big experience IGearzone 16.

    Excellent job. I can tell you that on my PC:
    Intel Core i3 4170, Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti, 8GB RAM game with this mod works fine on ultra graphics (1280x1024p) in 80fps ( never below 60fps )

THATS WHAT GIVES IT REALISM, NOT EVERY RACE HAS HUNTINGTON BEACH CALIFOTNIA WEATHER.. JUST A THOUGHT.. OTHERWISE FANTASTIC. YOU ARE GETTING BETTER AND BETTER.. HOPE YOU WILL RECOVER FROM YOUR SURGERY QUICKLY, WE WILL MISS YOUR MODS. MAYBE WE WILL TEAR UP F1 2015 AND 2016. AND SHOW CODIES HOW ITS DONE. I THINK WE ARE ALREAD.       My operation is now in april. I have a lot of time to mod other tracks. I work on adarker silverstone and on new overcast effects. I will look for all tracks original videos of the 2014 Grand Prix. The new weather and light has much drker shadows and it looks more like a cockpit view. The German GP of Hockenheim is the colourcheme of the good old F1 99 Challenge and I visit Hockenheim for a few years, but not on a GP. The Nüburgring in 2013 looks good . Hockenheim is a bad version. Rearly bad is the version of PCars. I hate the track design of PCars. They use the mobile one botlle for the pit building. Their is no bottle since a couple of years. Thank you for your support. I will do the same for your mods. In the next few days I want release the new graphicsoverhaul mod. It is a big update. I have reworked all track trees and the next thing is the tracksplit. The new singapore is a lot darker as version 1.3. As I show originbal material from 2014 I have seen the track is extreemely dark on corners. Looks very good now. With the wrap setting in the loading lighting file you can reduce the sun light and give more sunlight. I have changed the skymask on some tracks. With this settings you can produce a deeper looking sky. The austria ring is the first track where I use it. With the ambient shadow settings you can produce more real looking shadows. It looks impressive in the last corner of malaysia and on Abu Dhabi. No more this light gray looking grandstands. Shanghai is a darker track now. All races I have seen are races with overcast. Hungaroring is the best looking track in the retailversion. Little changes but no big things. Texas is now darker with a more foggy sky. I like the version of Grid Autosport. I hate the trackdesign. It makes me busy. I hope the Indianapolis GP comes back for this **** tracklayout or Surfers Paradise as a formula one sensation. A very cool feature for Revision 3 where the classic 80, 90 and seventy cars with the poor list of tracks from F1 2013. I like the old Turbos. Very powerfull cars. The drivers must have been big balls at this time to drive this cars. I´m talking from the 80 Turbo Cars and the 70 Cars. When I see the accidents of Villeneuve, Lauda and Petterson I see how risk it was to drive a Formula 1 Car. Ok I talk to much. Thank you for your ratings.

      Thanks for your rating. All looks a little bit darker in the mod. I have used fraps but fraps uses the windows default colour profile.
