Please be aware that anyone using altered files with this app, will be banned for goods from RSR Live Timing.

Creating apps that help everyone to do something illegal is clearly a very bad idea.

Working on an update so the tunes work as seperate cars, that should prevent you from getting banned by whatever RSR Live Timing is.

Av fun mod , & it only works for one car at a time so , lest say you pick a white Abarth 500 give it a Turbo boost to 2.0 & 10 % extra torque . then only that model will have that tune , soon has you change the color then that car is running stock. so there is little danger of wreaking ever car .

That I liked , its is a little trick to understand function wise.
But he has said that he will be working on making it a bit more user friendly.
I swapped the Quattro Rally S1 E2 engine & sounds into one of the standard Sports Quattro's on stock tires.

It drives crazy only use the first 4 gears around most race tracks & you can get some real wild wheel spin & power slides going. So its a fun mode to mess around with. So thanks.

doesn't work for me, every time i go to create a new tune i get a error message saying its cannot find the car :(, maybe a video tutorial will help instead of text!!

Hi Victor, great mod. If no file data acd in car folder (bmw e92) is there a solution ?

If a file is missing in any of Kunos' cars' folder you should verify the game cache in Steam. The program will not work for modded cars that do not have a data.acd file, I am working on an update so it supports those cars.

Works great, not sure what everyone's problems are, it just requires some common sense. When you do change something make sure you click APPLY in the bottom right, then save it and apply the tune.

The new engine swap feature is awesome, I was already doing this in the previous version and then using Content Manager to swap the sounds around but this is much easier now. :) E92 V8 in an E30? Yes, please! I am hoping though that the sounds will revert if I install the stock tune, I think I lost the E46 M3 sound from the Drift E30 at some point...

Also when it comes to the boost settings I'm not sure how that works, if I increase the boost will that increase the power or do I still have to manually increase the engine power. Also I'm guessing you can't just add a turbo to a non-turbo car, because that would be amazing. :)

It should have backed up the stock sound so that when you go back to the stock tune it will use the original sound again. You can check if <car>/tunes/stock/sfx exists.

Increasing boost will increase power.

You can add turbos, either by doing an engine swap with a car that has turbo(s), or by doing it manually in advanced tuning. Just open up the engine.ini of a car that has turbo, and copy the "[TURBO_0]............COCKPIT_ADJUSTABLE=0" and place it in another car's engine.ini to have turbo. If you want more than one, paste it again, and rename "[TURBO_0]" to "[TURBO_1]". This way of doing it however includes no sound.

"Install Tune", "Install Tune To Server" and "Apply" buttons are missing, also this tool doesn't work properly when you theme Windows, the words are the same colour as the background so they're unreadable.

This is a joke ! This app doesnt work. (ver. 1.03) I am not your personal beta tester. You have to develop the app and upload it when it work.

This app shpuld be deleted from a staff member of RD. Or better do it yourself and come back when it is done

Hello there great mod for personal use - I just have couple of questions ...

1st is it possible to create a upgrade of the car like for example Audi Quattro Standard/ Step 1 ? and then loading it whenever we want ?
2nd How the Power is working ? If i write 15 that does it means standard power +15% ?
3rd Can You make tyres upgrading a bit easier - it's confusing :)

I don't think this enables cheating, at least not online. Checksum will kick you I hope.
Yes, it's at least a grey zone. It gives access to IP which the company owns. Taking and misusing this for business must be avoided.
But actually Assetto Corsa is an amzing platform to experiment with modifcations as it has stunning physics (well, my view), in my case only for my own education (and fun). How would a Cayman GT4 drive with a PDK? With a shorter final gear drive? With the GT3 RS engine and PDK? With the tires of the clubsport? With regular street tires? E.g.:

So this tool might help someone to get started. I take a complete manual approach with copies for the cars to not have to touch any original car.

You use QuickBMS from http://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm . Why no credits?

The program should work from any folder on your computer, just unpack the zip, and click assetto corsa car tuner.exe to open the program.

P.S. There's nothing saying you can't modify Kunos' cars and a lot of mods are packed in .acd instead of the data folder, so you're not breaking any rules :)

You are not allowed to do that kind things. Unpackin and modyfying Kunos files are not allowed.
