Windows 11 and Direct X

Hi all,

So, I'm not too sure if my issue is with Win11 or ACC.

I built a new sim PC, installed all my racing games and went to try ACC. Didn't check others.

I get an error message saying Direct X Runtime needs to be installed.

At this point, I'm stuck. I initially thought it was Win11 and have gone though all the permutations of how to resolve this issue without success.

I've even reinstalled Win11 and tried installing Direct X Runtime before anything else and it's still the same.

However, am I right in saying Win11 is preinstalled Direct X 12? If so, this leads me to wonder whether it's something with ACC that is causing this.

Any ideas?

Yes, that's the case. Assetto Corsa Competizione doesn't use DirectX 12 though, it still uses DirectX 11, so you should make sure that these runtimes are installed on your PC.
