Triumph Dolomite

Once a upon a time, a family member upgraded to a Ford Sierra XR4 which left their beautiful looking deep red Triumph Dolomite 1500HL (wood dashboard and proper chrome wheels and bumpers to match, no rust whatsoever) doing nothing on the drive. I was given it for nothing and had it delivered to me but I could never ever start it - looking back it was probably just a flat battery but I was young, stupid and totally clueless.

Anyway....I spent a lot of time washing and polishing it and it was a beauty to look at and though it never moved I was proud to have it. The mechanic a few houses down approached me one day whilst I was giving it yet another clean and out of nowhere offered me £100 for it. In my head I was like "Are you taking me for a fool, you fool, I know it's worth LOL, I'm never selling it I love it!".
Anyway, cutting a long story short, I accepted the cash and an hour later I was down Woolworths buying a Super Nintendo out of it - I found all the hidden areas within Mario as well, awesome job.
Anyway, if only I could have driven it once and maybe one day, one beautiful day, I get to drive it in Assetto Corsa. If anyone knows of a quality mod of it please make a old man happy (I'm only 46 - got a wife and 3 kids feel like 96) and post tell me where.

Oh and if anyone knows of any quality rover mods (213/214/216/metro) that would be great.

That looks like a Sprint to me , 4 valves per cylinder but with single overhead cam. My mate had a bright yellow one with twin 40 carbs , seriously rapid, he used to have great fun racing and often beating Porsche's back in the day.

Yep, just did a bit of googling and it seems the Sprint version had a vinyl roof - my brief ownership was a hardtop HL. Just reading a bit more into the Sprint (wiki) - it was also the world's first ever mass produced multi valve engine. Triumph TR7 is another I would like to see... I suppose I should learn to mod if I want them one but am surprised there aren't many high quality mods (if any) of British cars from that era...

Though not strictly British but assembled in Britain I would also like a quality version of an Ford Escort MK3 and as equally a Ford Cortina MK 3, 4 or 5.

I want lots of things! :D

EDIT: Was the vinyl roof removable as in convertible by design?
