Triple Monitor Stand Build by Yours Truly

Hi guys,

I wanted to share my journey making my own triple monitor stand, I know it's not the best but its something i'm very proud of. I wanted to buy a triple monitor stand but they are all so expensive, +400. So I set out to build my own..I originally was going to go with PVC pipe but a friend talked me out of it telling me aluminum square tubing would look better and be strong. I also can take this stand apart completely which is cool. So I made a quick plan and went to a local yard store and bought aluminum square tubing 1 1/4 @ 22 feet and it cost be $38 dollars =). The rest is a lot of measuring and history lol. I finished up with priming, painting, clear coat, and polish.

Very nice, looking good. I love DIY projects and the sense of satisfaction they bring. The cost savings is a great bonus too.

It looks like it in the pictures, but can you adjust the angle of the monitors?

Yes I can adjust the angle of the monitors, my budget for this was $100. and in final it cost me $101. I bought the arms off of amazon for $13 each.

Bad ass man! Nice work. I need to do something similar, I've been using the same desk for over 10 years now lol. What are you doing to mount speakers? haven't been able to find a good solution yet.
