Some suggestions: use high quality logos and don't enlage them, that makes them blurry. The skin might be ok, but blurry logos just ruin it. Some places are ok, like the number on the door and the boxes next to it are sharp, but some are really bad, like the background for the hood repsol and the big repsols on the sides.

Also, you should make a reflection map, because right now your skin is too shiny. Depending on the color it determins how shiny and reflective or matt the livery is.
Red channel controls reflected brightness when light shines on it, Green is reflection clarity (0 is matt and 255 is glossy) and blue is the amount of reflections. You don't have to go into channels, just pick a color using the RGB sliders. If you wanted a matt finish, you would use something like R=10, G=30, B=110 which is a dark blue color.

Here's an example: map for the left side of the hood is dark blue which makes it matt, on the right side it's white which makes it very shiny and reflective. By playing with these you can achieve different color finishes for different parts (like the base could be semi-gloss and the decals matt). The default maps often are greenish white, which makes them too shiny

You can see the reflected trees on the right side and that it gets very bright where the light shines on the blue part above the grille vs a much more even finish on the left

Here's how it looks just for the hood. The easiest way to make a map is to copy your skin PSD file, change the name accordingly (usually just add _map at the end, but check to make sure), and recolor the layers

Thank you for your highly detailed response. I appreciate constructive feedback as I'm still trying to learn the basics of skinning.

Yes, some of the logos like the big Repo are too blurry, and now I understand why. I made them from vector logos, but Photoshop rasterizes the images when you open them, and since I had no clue what I was doing I selected the default size (which is pitifully small), so when enlarging them to fit the skin it became blurry. A really, really dumb noob mistake. I made the Movistar logos from a low-resolution image, similar outcome. I will redo all of the Repsol and Movistar logos so they are sharp.

As for the reflection maps, I didn't have a clue about them before, so all that information is of great help, thank you. There are lots of AC skinning guides, but strangely very little information about reflection maps, or then I just can't find it. Semi-gloss with matte decals sounds about right.

Anyways, thank you so much for the info! This will help to make the skin a lot better, and will certainly be useful when I make my next skin.

I think you might have uploaded the wrong file. In your screenshots it shows number 9, but on the skin it's still 009.
The logos and reflections now look a lot better though :)
Some more things I noticed, there's a Seat logo on the bumper, which probably shouldn't be there, but since it doesn't show in your screenshots, I take it you have already fixed that, just uploaded the wrong thing.
The place where the bumper joins the fender looks a bit weird. The blue line should probably continue on the corner of the bumper a bit

Also, when making a skin, consider the specific shapes of each car. The Repsol logo on the rear bumper looks ok in the skin, but because the rear fender sticks out so much, it covers a part of it if you're not looking at it straight from the rear. In this case making the Repsol logo about 20% smaller would probably fix it.
Same with MoviStar, here it goes over a corner and gets distorted a lot, if you're not looking at it straight on. Making it smaller, so it doesn't go over the edge would fix it (the way you did with the maxon logos).

Thanks! Appreciate it. This skin certainly was not great when I first uploaded it, but apparently with enough trial and error even someone like me can learn how to make skins :D
