Replays are dark

I've only recently noticed something very strange. When I go to playback a replay after a race the screen is dark as though it's night except it's not because I wasn't racing at night. The replay is then useless so I return to the pits and it is now night time and my car lights are on. Anyone have any idea what is going on? The only thing I did recently was install the Natural Graphics filter but this problem has occurred with both Natural filter and Sol filter. Oh and to make it more complicated the problem doesn't seem to occur every time I try to watch a replay. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I skip to the end of the replay where it is day time (because, magically, it is daytime) then you can go back in the replay and it’ll be day.

another tip is to save the replay
when you access the saved replay, it plays ok

I had the same problem and resolve by adjusting the day hour on "Shaders Path Weather"...
