Oculus rift sims.

So sine I have a new PC and a new Oculus rift. Downloading and installing sime that work with it will take priority. So question 1 is which games natively work with the Oculus rift? Question 2, which sims will work with the Oculus rift but need 3rd party software (please define the category and please name the sim and the 3rd party software needed to run it with the Ocuus. Thank you.

Assetto Corsa, Project Cars1&2, and iRacing all have native support for the Rift.

rFactor2 and RaceRoom use Steam-VR as the bridge that links to Oculus. rFactor2-VR can be pretty demanding for VR-performance but, it has gotten better recently. RaceRoom seems to run very nicely in VR using Rift-CV1.

Beyond that, I don't recommend other 3rd-party VR-solutions (such as VorpX) as they come with some major compromises based on my experience.

iRacing..! To me iRacing has the best VR implementation... AC is a close 2nd!

I'd like to recommend Euro Truck Simulator 2: relaxing and immersive. Select beta in the Steam options of the game to get Rift support.
