New MB and CPU, new noises...

Hope you get this sorted. If I recall you has a 3770k prior. Be inetrested to know what preformance increases you see with the 3600x as I have the 3770k myself at the moment.
So far it's night and day better.
I'm running full grid on ACC with higher fps
On rF2 I'm able to crank up the grid and increase my visuals and hitting over 250fps most of the time.
This while running 30 odd AI...

Well I reinstalled the H100i v2 tonight. Temps have dropped by over 10°C
Whole case feels cooler than it ever did too now that I have the AIO at the front with two fans pulling air in and another 2 at the top of the case doing the same with a single exit fan at the back.
Anyway, so far no issues starting up. Not installed the sound card back in yet so will put that back in tomorrow and see if anything changes.
Then I'll make sure all is cool and stable and attempt increasing the ram speed from standard.

Did you short the CMOS jumpers to reset bios ( using restore in bios won't do it )

If you use W10 on thumb drive for setup
1. Shut PC and disconnect the sata cables to all other HDD and DVD
2. Leave W10 thumb drive in PC and boot to bios
3. In boot order disable everything except your M2
4. Then in UEFI boot section select the W10 USB drive
5. Save bios and reboot

Make sure Fastboot is disabled as well
Make sure you disconnect Ethernet or remove wireless antenna until you get W10 setup up properly
Make fresh Media Tool 1903 and you should not get any updates apart from Anti-Malware and Virus definition updates, the only other update is optional
then stop updates for a week or more

You know what?
I didn't short the CMOS jumper before using BIOS flashback....
Should I do this and reinstall the latest bios?

Win10 was installed with USB thumb drive under UEFI already and is running ok.
Is this something I need to do again?
Will check on fast boot tonight

When using flash bios you should reset CMOS before you update and again after you update
Only then do bios settings
Save changes and save to a profile in Bios so easy next time if you need to reset bios

After W10 installs go to disk management and change the USB to drive U
Shutdown connect #2 HDD only and boot to windows it will take next drive letter
Repeat process with all storage
Change DVD to O:\ ( optical) so it is out of way
If you have more then 10 partitions + external partitions I use W:\ ( Writer )
If you use virtual drives set to V ( virtual )
Then you have U V W used and all lower letters unused

If you don't have a jumper to do CMOS use a little screwdriver and short the 2 pins for 5 seconds
Make sure to check motherboard book that you have the right jumper
As you disconnect power first you can't blow anything up anyways but safer then sorry ;)

Yeah, done this before. Really don't get why they can't include a jumper cap in the box...
I was actually thinking about installing an old reset switch inside the case for resetting with ease.

Yeah they almost always used to

$367AU ....I still amazed cheap board and ram is running so decent especially with 3900X
Static tests from reviews I replicate are barely slower then the uber boards they use

New model 3600MHz G.Skill for Ryzen3000 is way expensive here, either quad channel or dual CL14

Sold out I got the last kit

Cheapest Gigabyte X570 has BT5 is the Pro $469AU
That's $900 or $970AU combos vs my $367AU combo

Ah ok. And l don't need to change the filename to MSI.ROM either I think

Sorry missed that, you right
Rename for button leave as is for bios flash

P.S.
Funny the different things some had to do to get the bios button to work
USB3 stick, USB2stick, new stick, old stick 4GB to 64GB lol a few even used a different USB port
or needed 2 sticks / ports

Good thing is bios flash will work with anything, still do fresh format to thumb drive first

Hope new bios for our mobo is soon and fixes voltages properly
I believe next bios will have Raid fixed not sure about Wifi
Did you get a BSOD installing W10 if Wifi enabled ? ( did new OS still crashes but like I said I don't need it and that Intel proset looks like bloatware to me )

Not sure why MSI have not updated the chipset yet .....
Both the Ethernet and Wifi drivers have been updated recently do both in device manager

P.S. In your sig your missing a motherboard ..lol ;)

Mine worked 2nd time.
I hadn't formatted the thumb drive properly.
I was using FAT not FAT32 I think.
