Need help with multiplayer

So I've got the steam version and I'm trying to figure how to do online.

I'm getting "Cannot connect to server" on multiplayer but I can host via dedicated no problem, but which IP address to I give to people to join it?

Haven't touched this game in over 7 years

hello david,

there is no online offical lobby anymore in GTR2.
there are still (i think) 2 different private lobbys for GTR2
you should google for rennsimulanten gtr2
and kölschbierbude gtr2
then you will come to their side.
in general, GTR2 online is dead, only in this 2 forums there is still activite (perhaps a few other server are still online in one of this 2 lobbys)
