Mods first time...

Hi !

Pls help me , Im new at this mod things...

I downloaded F1 2008 mod for my GTR Evo. Where do I put the "program" ?

D:/games/....

Put the Steam/Steamapps/your profile/race07. And the mod in the game.

and you will end up with a folder like this

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\kampferas\race 07\GameData\Teams\

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\kampferas\race 07\GameData\Sounds\

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\kampferas\race 07\GameData\Talent\

etc...

1. Download the content (mods, tracks or cars) from http://forum.racedepartment.com/downloads.php
2. Unzip it with Winrar (if you don't have it, click here for download)
3. Always open and read the readme.txt in the mod that already describes the following
4. Go to this path: Code:
   X:\Steam\steamapps\YourSteamName\race 07
5. Inside there are two folders:
6. Gamedata
7. UIdata
8. Place the mods in the UIData and Gamedata (overwrite), or
9. Run the .exe if it has an installer and point it to your RACE 07 folder
10. Voila done, ready to rock and roll :bye:
