GTL_RankTool, the smallest You can find.

Installation
------------
Create a new folder (f.ex. C:\Program Files\GTL_RankTool) and unzip
the downloaded file into it. Create a shortcut for it if you want one.

At the first run you have to pick your career file. If the proposed file
is not the correct, please browse for the correct one. If needed you
can change the career file later by clicking on the current path shown
on the main dialog.

Requirements
------------
This has been developed in a Windows XP SP2 environment and has not been
thoroughly tested in other systems, but I have a good feeling it should
work nicely at least with Vista and Win2000 (x86 only) systems.

This version does NOT need runtimes (VB or .NET runtimes or any other).
Small is beautiful.

Notes
-----
I'm sorry, but there is no help file available. Just try clicking (and
double clicking) at values and lines presented to you. You'll find all
possibilities quickly.

Result lists and grids have no sorting implemented.

There's also a problem with GTC76 rank results from the GTL Rank site
(http://gtl.gplrank.info/) and what this program thinks they should be..
They used to be the same, but after certain date there has been a
difference of 15 seconds. Of course I haven't found any reasons for
this from my program's code. Also calculations with a hand calculator
and with Excel have matched with the results of this program.

Online reftimes update fetches the reference timebase of the GTL Rank site
(http://gtl.gplrank.info/) and saves it into registry for later use
(if update ended successfully). There's no need for frequent updates!

This tool is somewhat unfinished and probably will stay like that. If
any major bugs are found they will be handled, if time is available.

64-bit versions are not available.

cheers.. C[_] aSa
