Another point to note is I haven’t downloaded anyone’s liveries, so for the last 3 races I’ve basically been surrounded by 12 gelatinous blobs!

I feel I got out of the way for everyone who lapped me, except Hardie out of the second to last corner where my throttle lift nearly meant I had a Lambo badge imprint on the back of my 991, Im sorry for the near miss Hardie!

Na, you didn't do anything wrong mate. I carried too much speed through that fast right hander in comparison to yourself and instead of risking the overtake I just hit the brakes to slow right behind you.
I didn't want to risk carrying the speed to overtake in case you pulled to the right to line the last corner up.

I had a great time. Was fun to get into a new rhythm with practice on a drying track. Quali I was happy and disappointed, couldn't hook up my best sectors as I felt like a 1:40.9 should have been possible.

It was good to have my fellow Ricardo on my tail, that helps keeping focus because if I would have pulled away, that focus would be out the window. Decided to go long as we could see the weather 15 mins in advance, so pitted the final 15 minutes. Noticed my fastest lap was taken away by somebody else so went for a full qualifying run those 15 minutes, taking off half a second of my high fuel load laptimes.

Much respect for the blue flag discipline in the field by the way! I've had races on RD where that has been worse. Never lost more than half a second lapping anybody.
