Not bad, but cleary easy you work only on the 2D uv map and never use the 3d model for the design.

May be you dont know but you can create a new layer over the 3d model and merge it after, so for example you draw a straight line on the side of the helmet and merge it after, the line will goes on the uv map and on every part like the wings..... so you will get a better finish result than guessing it
