All texture images used on a car model go into the car folder.

Of course this is after those images have been applied to the car model.

I don't really get how this works. Can you please make a video?

Have a look at the car.shd (open it in notepad). You can see what textures are assigned to what parts of the car then you can edit the texture for the body to add decals.

Cars are modeled using a 3d graphics program such as Z-mod, Gmax, or Blender.
During the modeling process texture images are applied to the 3d model.
When the model is finished it is exported from the 3d graphics program and pit into a car folder.
