Well I finally raced online at the Ring and it was great fun. I've also been comparing my times with other online drivers under similar race conditions. I have always been very competitive on the local, regional and national level in shooting sports and martial arts. I love to win. Winning in any endeavor takes years of practice and dedication. GTL seems to be no exception.
GTL is also about fun. I think I pushed myself too hard too soon in order to get online. I'd like to get back to the pure fun of racing my favorite cars on my favorite tracks without pressure for a while. I'd also like to take a more relaxed but serious study of setups and car dynamics. I am also wondering if there might be a GTL racing group out there where the participants are more at the beginner level.
