Audio equalizer for sim racing with headphones

OK, so first off I'm a Philistine when it comes to understanding audio (and lots of other technical stuff too).

I just bought a SoundBlaster Audigy FX card because I was finding AMS2 too quiet and I wanted to try an amp.

It certainly works in terms of giving me the increase in volume I was after -I can now configure the in game balance so that my own engine doesn't dominate all other sounds -so I'm pleased.

However, now I have access to the Creative equalizer, I wonder if there is a more optimal way to set this up? I'm currently running it at 'flat'. I drive in cockpit view btw.

Any audio experts advise me on ranges I could / should look to change?

Thanks!
