AI Difficulty Adjustment Problems

Hi,

So I'm trying to race on LAN with my brother, we've tried multiple series, multiple tracks (stock and modded), and no matter what i adjust the AI to, they seem to race like they're at 120%. I've raced on LAN before and not had this problem, I've also tuned his difficulty to the same as mine, changing from 70% to 90%, but there is no change in lap time or pace.

Could anyone shed any light as to how i can solve this? Because like i said, it's never happened before, my brothers doesn't play many racing games hence why im trying to lower it between 70-90.

I think I've had a similar situation, but the AI was stuck too slow. I would set it faster in-game, but they wouldn't speed up, even after restarting the game between changes.

Then I saw that this line in my .plr file:

MULTI AI Driver Strength="85"

seemed to be stuck at 85. I've manually changed it to 100 now and we'll see how it goes this weekend.

Anyway, you might look at yours and change it and see what happens.
