i like the fact that before the qualifying began Button only had about 17 votes to win... and now hes got 35..
i was 1 of the 17 , yes i'm a button fan through thick and thin...
which leads me to think its more about the car than the driver these days....
Maybe lock the votes before qually....

Not sure really if it would have damaged the car or not tbh as I know F1 teams have used dry ice in certain conditions in the past but as far as DC and co were saying yesterday on the BBC it was just over heating brakes.

They were just overheating, no dry ice or similar.

Can someone prove me how Maldonado jumped the start please ? From the slo-mo I've seen, it was a bloody perfect drag racing-like start, even if it was unintentional

A fraction of a second later and it would have been one of the best reptile-starts ever in F1.
But it was clearly a jump start.

Yea 1-2m or so.
It would have been a sick start even if he had taken off at the same time as everyone else.

It has to be said also what a great job the finger did in this race.
He was one of few that actually lost places due to the carnage in La Source.
He said something about he was behind Kovalainen on lap 1.
He just came through and was determined to move up the field, we also saw some more of what we have been missing. Some fighting spirit!

Indeed... got to be the closest I`ve ever seen but a jump is a jump I suppose.

If Maldonado could catch that just as the lights go out instead of just before he`d be off like a scalded cat. The perfect race start...

Well Probably The Age and Experience was Coming together but this proved he can Charge through the Field
