Update for GTR2 and Race 07 by Sergio Hundo
I want to thank Bassguy, who created the track called rFactor. I couldn't keep in touch with him. But this guy is to be congratulated. What a track!...I particularly like it a lot...I liked it so much that I made several modifications. And I preferred to release it as an update. I also want to thank khan1670 who previously did a GTR2 conversion and the updates done by Frankybb & BlackHawk2LW and Motorfx. Thanks to you too, guys!
The track has a grid and a garage for 48 cars (it runs well for me). I set the fuel limit for long runs with factor 16 in the AIW file.
Known issues:
- In the Race 07 version, some building shadows sometimes fail, but only at some points on the track. In the GTR2 version, I didn't add shadows, because in some buildings, even with textures at level 16 (the lowest possible), they were too dark.
- In the Race 07 version, the curve before the grid straight, if the player's car passes by “closing” the curve, the game will penalize informing you that you “cut” the track. Stay tuned and “open” the curve... In the GTR2 version, this doesn't happen.
About specialfx.tec file:
I tested with original files for all versions (GTR2/Race 07). And everything worked perfectly.
For the critics on duty:
I made several object additions to this track. If what I did isn't what you think it should be, simply delete the track. I will be grateful. I write this because it took me many months to finish this update (including using a borrowed computer, as my notebook burned down at the beginning of the year...) and a critic arrives, who didn't like the way it was done and starts to denigrate and speak badly. of the track. I'm always open to collaborations and new learning, but this type of comment is no longer appropriate. Anyway.
If the original track creator identifies this update for GTR2 and Race 07, and requests its removal from any site hosted by me, this will be done immediately, therefore, hosting on another site without my knowledge is not permitted.
The objective of all this is to provide entertainment, without any financial or commercial return. Have a good time ! This is enough.
Installation:
Unzip the rar file with Winrar or similar program and paste it into the GTR2 Location folder. Enjoy!!!
