Under normal circumstances I would give 5 stars for this work. Even if it might not be accurate with the corner camber or other stuff. It looks gorgeous. Very detailed. Great atmosphere.

But this track is totally unoptimized. On my PC I cant play it. Ok you could say its a potatoe. It might be but the original tracks and all modded tracks from the professional AC modders run with high FPS on my machine.

So, see this missing star as motivation to improve the performance of the track.

Super! La nouvelle version est vraiment top!
J'ai pas mis 5 étoile à cause des arbres qui cassent un peut le réalisme, il manque des ombres à leur base et ils font du coup hyper artificiels.
Autre point, la layout 8km est super fidèle, mais ce serait bien d'en avoir une comme avant sans le rond point, pour faire des course :)

hello and thank you, for my part, I have no problem with the shade of the trees? , lower the exposure maybe to make them a bit darker, I have to see , but later for the trees with TREEfx
and for the 8km version with the roundabout, I wouldn't have called it "REVIVAL 2023", and I don't see why it's inconvenient for the race!

Thank's for the update. It's better...and better. Perhaps, could you find a solution for the pitstands : lot of percussions, i think that the AI(s) are not in ghosts ?

hello, for the stands yes sorry, it's just a section of road that is badly named at the exit, I'll take care of it as soon as possible

its looks ok and is driveable (no bumps tho), but be warned that the the unpacked track size is almost 700 MB already, and due to the use of png and jpeg textures (which trigger internal dds conversion on loading) this track does need a lot of RAM. Could cause lockups while loading on lower spec PCs.

This is kind of a strange Frankenstein track between old and new. Pit buildings are present day, some of the layout follows the track used up until 1988, but with bridges and tyre barriers that were never used back then. My biggest problem though, is that the track seems to be completely level - i.e. it has no camber on any of the corners. Clermont Ferrand is one of the most cambered tracks I know, with most corners having between 3° and 6° of camber. It's impossible to take the corners at the correct speed when the track surface is level. Also, what's with the weird kink in the road at Champeaux? Lidar data for this whole track is available for free, so I see no excuse for these inaccuracies :(

Thanks for this track mate, I can see a lot of passion here.
I drove only once IRL on this track, and it was 9 years ago, so maybe i don't remember well, but I don't understand why there are so many bumps on the layout.... I remember some "dangerous" areas, but absolutely not so many bumps, and certainly not on the first corner... (Talking only about the 4km layout)
It's true that there are some "ondulations", but not as much as this "mod"...
Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty happy that some guys trys to recreate the Charade track, and having the 4km AND the "historic layout" is something really appreciated..You did a great work on them, but there is still room for improvements^^.

PS (in french) : euh, par contre, la faute d'orthographe sur l'affiche, ça fait pas serieux...("présentes" ? ...ah bon ? )
