Why on earth can't you run an online practice session?
Why on earth can't you view your sector/lap times after an online qualifying session? (OR RACE!)
Why on earth can't you watch or save a replay of an online session?
Why on earth can't you restart an online session?

At least we get to 'live the life' by being asked a couple of stupid multiple choice questions.

    GG CM...

Uh, do you seriously think letting people restart online races would be a good idea?

I think yes and no. obviously issues like random SC/lag dsq's would be alleviated by the ability to restart. and things like connection drops.

Along with this I think custom lap times and grids should be implemented as well, right now there's no flexibility at all when it comes to things such as that.

if you want a 75 or 30 or 15 or 5 % race/quali you can't do that. Or if you wanted to do 100 laps at monaco you can't do that either.

also if you want to have a qualifying session and then a break then start the GP up, you can't do that either.

yes. if someone crashes in quali you can vote to restart the session instead of having to quit and re-invite everyone.
in the races, if it's a bung start. or unfair penalty, you can restart via vote. why not?

but more importantly... lap times... come on now. how hard is it to have a screen of those? unbelievable.

RacePro has got it right when it comes to online play. Instead of sitting around in a lobby waiting for people to join you just go into a practice session and people can then join willy nilly. Its then upto the host to decide when to go to Quali and Race. Its probably not ideal in all situations but definataly a good idea and could be implemented as an option for future F1 games.

yea, I wanted to do some set-up work with league-mates so thought a "short weekend" would do the trick - 1 hour practice session followed by Quali etc but no, you can't do that online except in co-op mode. Can't restart a co-op session if you disconnect either, happened in our 1st race, can't even restart season! But apart from the roads, wine, order, sanitation etc what did the romans ever do for us either Lol

A bad quali means I can go forwards in the race. Premium

Race lap times are available in race director after the race.

But after quali is where you really want it... compare sector times etc...
Very silly that you can run weekends in co-op mode but not online.
Also should be able to select number of AI cars on track and bring a few into
an online session. This could be such a good game if they'd bother to add these simple and logical features.
