F1 2016 What position should I be in, in 1st season?

I am trying to judge which difficulty i should be playing on, what sort of position should I be in on the first season with the Renault team? I am playing on hard and qualifying around 7th or 8th

In reality, Renault struggle to get both cars out of Q1, so should be qualifying about 15th-17th probably
