I am making an app that sends messages to my thrustmaster SF1000 wheel without the need for the separate telemetry program running.
While doing this, I ran into an issue with the tyre wear from sim_info.py. I am using the version that is updated to AC 1.14.3.
I have looked at several other apps that use tyre wear and I have been unable to get anything working.
I tried logging the values stored in the tyreWear field of sim_info, and it seems to start at [99, 99, 99, 99] and then go up very slowly. In one case where I know the tyre wear must have been at least a few percentage points, it ended at [99.00018310546875, 99.00018310546875, 99.00007629394531, 99.00008392333984].
Can anybody help me decipher these numbers?
Alternatively, if there is an easier way to access tyre wear information, this would also be a big help. Thanks in advance.
