Wall collide setting: impact on performance

Just curious: I read alot on this forum about only setting 'Collide' to 'on' for a wall if you can actually collide with it, as otherwise it's bad for the performance. Is this hit to performance only about a loss of FPS, or does it affect anything else?

Cheers,

Alex

It can hit performance if the wall has many polys and high LOD I think. Instead of making them collidable, I used to build additional, invisible low-poly walls with LOD=1 and collision "on".
I don't have to do tests now, but I know of few advanced testers here who make big experiments ;)
