Using Razer Cortex to boost FPS

Discussion in 'F1 2014 - The Game' started by cowboy2, Nov 19, 2014.

  1. Hi Everyone, just wanted to share something I found that dramatically boosts my FPS, I have installed Razer Cortex free program and run F1 2014 thru it, I am able to run all settings on ultra with exception of vehicle reflections which I have altered with the advice dejanibanez posted super-ultra-reflections-no-fps-loss I run it at 256, I get a solid 60FPS and I only have a i5 760 and HD6870 graphics card, its the best my game has ever run. Hope it helps anyone.

  2. Can you give me download link? Thanks!
    :)

  3. Thankx!

  4. well i testet it and i have not even a single fps more from it xD ^^

  5. I take it you are starting your game thru Razer cortex so the f1 2014 exe starts thru it. What FPS are you getting and what in game graphics settings are you running.

  6. i play on high sets @1024x768 resolution and have around 30-45 fps and when i start the game with Coretex i have no defference :S maybe it's already at the maximum my card can give out

  7. Ok that's a bit of bummer, sorry it didn't help you.

  8. well it was a try but well maybe something other works ^^ :D
