Hello everyone,

the Red Bull Ring, A1 Ring, Zeltweg or however you want to call it, now has 3D Trees.

Please expect a slight performance hit, there´s a lot more stuff to render.

Keep the Version number in mind.

Finally a TreeFX thats actually worth using!

A few pointers if you release another update....

Code:
tree_cast?, shadow3d?
Needs to be added to your HIDE config, they are the "caster meshes" used for tree shadows (Kunos trick)... otherwise the trees are gone but its shadows are still there.

- Overlapping trees in many places, this creates a bad flickering effect when the tree turns into billboard. In this example, the spruce is in the same exact location as the sycamore... not sure you can clean up through the tool or method you are using?

Hey John,

thanks for the "shadow trick"!
Will try it immediatly.

Regarding the overlapping trees:
Thanks again! This kind of input and kind criticism to improve the experience for all of us is very welcome.
When you work on a Project for some time, you tend to get slightly blind for those details.
I will take a look and implement some improvements after a short brake for myself.
It is possible to clean it up but I have to do it manually...

Take care John and once again, thanks for the kind words

Great work.
Just a question: why did you deleted the reference to 4.kn5 file inside models_layout_gp.ini?
4.kn5 containes only track objacts (mostly skidmarks)
