It's time for Assetto corsa 2, and not in 5 years, we need it next year !
and standard is 4k now, forget mods developped for 1080p with awfull textures.

AMS: 2016 (but it's just relaunch of the 2013 Game Stock Car Extreme)

None of which have updated more than AC in the last few years.

You should consider going outside their studio and protest, if not try volunteer building schools in some 3rd world country...

You should consider venting your frustration by starting your blog to replace Pretend Race Cars now that he sold out to SMS and closed his blog.

Thank you for posting your opinion. However, this sub forum is designed for people who like the game and therefore want to discuss how to get the best out of their game by asking about bugfixes, editing various settings, installing some of the hundreds of fantastic mods RD has to offer and sharing setups. These people deserve a sub-forum allowing them to enjoy a game they like. We at RD serve to allow people to like whichever games they want to and offer the services to make their experience better. If you are unable to add anything useful to a discussion, please don't say anything.

Please remember to use good grammar and spelling, use proper sentences and also write points that are legitimate, not random awful trolling that wastes the time of staff and people reading the threads. Who knows, you may have bumped a useful thread off the front of this forum that a casual user needs to find, all for what? Vague hate which is misinformed and directed.

Outdated? Lol. You must me driving sonething else but Assetto Corsa indeed. 4k doesn't mean better in any kinds of ways. All other sims look outdated compared to it. And I do not care just about the graphics it self. I know there are things missing, butsm still, you cannot have everything, right?

From what he wrote, this guy obviously has never worked in the gaming industry, put in blood sweat and tears developing a game or knew anybody who does because to expect Kunos to churn out a sequel for next year from scratch, it's not the 1980s anymore, the era when one teenager can churn out a game in his bedroom with a C64 in a short space of time with primitive physics (compared to now).

He should learn that from reviews of AC given the size of it's manpower, it's obvious that it wasn't a AAA title, unlike his beloved FM7.

He should ask himself this if he wants Kunos to churn out AC2 for next year, why do Activision need 3 dev teams to crop out Call of Duty annually? Why do EA need such a huge team of 1300 to churn out the same recycled crap in FIFA and Madden? Turn 10 has a manpower of 300 compared to Kunos' 30, hence they can churn out FM biannually.

As with being outdated, what do you mean by that and how. I prefer to trade in a 60 car starting grid to fancy graphic with 8 cars.

Lastly, I recommend him to read the experience of EA Spouse to know what it's like to work for a large publisher.
