F1 2012 Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience no Rumble Effects?

F1 2012 The Game (Codemasters)
Hello Everbody!

I'm new here but i was reading the forum since F1 2011.

I've joined months ago for the great Mods here provided by the community

My name is Alain and I'm from Luxembourg / Europe.

I got the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel for F1 2012 because my old from MS broke :(

I've installed the latest drivers from Thrustmaster AND the switch on the wheel is set to PC of course.

I just got ONE Problem with it!

I've set all Settings for FFB to 100%!

But nothing happens i know that this wheel doesn't have real FFB but i feel NOTHING like there is no Rumble Effect?

Does anybody has an idea what i am making wrong?

P.S I can select the wheel in the options but when i change some buttons (like change camera, DRS etc) it's no more the Name of the wheel but "Custom" in the settings.

Thanks in advance and please forgive me some grammar errors because English isn't my first language.

Greetings from Luxembourg

Hello Graham Laing

Thank you for your answer!

So the first question is answered :)
Thank you for that now I'm sure that "Custom" is normal :)

I've been doing DDOS Attacks on Google (i think they think like that because I'm doing so much requests for that wheel :D )

Didn't found any answer so I'm still searching...

Thank you again

Hi and everybody thanks for your answers!

I've contacted Thrustmaster via phone (they got a helpline for LUXEMBOURG!)
Such a small country even Microsoft, PayPal and Amazon who have their HQ's here don't have a hotline for Luxembourg!

Absolutely and PLUS for Thrustmaster :D

The guy even spoke German and French (i hate French *G*) so i had a Conversation in German with him.

He asked me about the Serial number of my wheel and my mail.
He told me he would send me the correct ? driver.

I'm pretty sure it would be the SAME that i already have :D

But i will try it.

Thanks again for your answers i will keep you updated on the GAP oehh news.

:D

PROBLEM SOLVED!

The newest Drivers are NOT for the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience!
I got a mail from the (very nice!) support with the correct Drivers :

The name is : 2009_FFD_1.exe NOT THE 2009_FFD_2.exe which is the newest!

Now i just have to recalibrate my wheel for my personal settings (would be done in some minutes).

I really want to thank you for your fast and helpfully answers!
Great Community!

Greetings from Luxembourg

ICEGOLD which is now driving with FFB :D

P.S Is there an option where i can change the title of the thread?
So i could add SOLVED to the title if there are other users with the same problem?

I am pleased that you have found the solution to your problem.

We don't normally add 'solved' to thread titles.

Moderators can change titles, but a normal member cannot change the title of their own thread.

I have sourced that file elsewhere, because Thrustmaster have removed the download of FFD_1 from their website, as the FFD_2 file is the new one which replaces it. I have uploaded it to my host for anyone else who may need it it in the future.

Thrustmaster 2009_FFD_1.exe zipped package

@Sasha Jednak had the correct page above, but their download link on that page is dead.

Cheers :)
