Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 for Xbox 360/PC Any good

Hi,

Thinking about getting the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Xbox 360/PC wheel and was wondering is it any good?

Can hardly imagine it's any good and will probably feel like a plastic toy.

Maybe you can look into Fanatec products?

Can't afford Fanatec and I would be using it on the Xbox 360, which has some what of a limited amount of wheels for it.

Have some patience and save some money, you can only spend it once, better spend it well. Would be a shame if you regret buying the budget thrustmaster wheel the second you try proper pc sims

Which model? The desk mount or the one with the built in stand. The desk mount model if i remember correctly has no ffb or vibration and the wheel centering is done by bungie cords inside, the built in stand model only has vibration.

I've tried the built in stand model with Forza 4 and i didn't like it all too much. Rotation is limited at 270 degrees and steering response felt slow, mind you it was demo at a electronics store so i didn't tinker with any of the game settings. I also didn't like that there was no force feedback, vibration just doesn't cut it.

Any used Fanatec CSR Standard's around where you're at? It is definitely worth saving a bit longer and just at least get yourself a CSR Standard or even the 911GT2 wheel.

Just gone and bought my self the Official Xbox 360 Wheel and Pedals.
As I have had one of these before and liked it.
