My point is I don't find the six vent system ugly.....I just think of it as retro.

Thats the trouble with just being out of diapers......everything thats is older than you is now apparently ugly.

I actually like the helmets back then. It showed more of the driver's personality and taste. Modern helmets look cool, but sponsors and commercialism have a much larger influence on the design now.

WIP. Porsche Design car. Decided to use brighter colors instead of the usual black/grey and gold. I'm Still not too sure if its a good idea. Maybe feedback from you guys would help me decide.

Orange is fine, but the blue looks nothing like what Porsche would use today. But nice design - maybe figure something for the rear of the car (and the rear wing) - looks pretty monotone.

It is quite an uncommon color for a Porsche. I get what you mean about the rear end plate, I'll think of something for it. Thanks

Yeah, those were the old Gulf colors, I believe - but maybe you can get some inspiration from these:
