Teams?

I was wondering about something, and if you wouldn't mind setting me straight I would appreciate it. I had seen things such as sim-racing stuff that I guess uses rfactor having teams and such. Can you do that in iracing, or is it all just a mock up saying oh this team or that?

I'm not sure how the team thing works Joe. As far as I know iracing only calculates individual points. I think for the most part you get to use the team's skin, share setups and have people to practice with. I could be wrong though.
