I have an Alienware X51 i3-3.30GHZ, 4GB ram and 1 GB DDR5 Nvidia GTX-545.
Is this enough to run rFactor 2? It runs everything I throw at it apart from Pcars, well it does but it looks horrible grainy and if I max the GFX out it stutters. So I was wondering if it's gonna struggle with Rf2?

With all maxed out, you will probably get some stuters as well. But if you turn some features like environment reflection off, you should be able to manage ok.

If you want to be really sure, wait for the game to go gold, and then download the demo they will release then. That way you can test it. Now, you always need a license to test it.
You can get a reefund if it does not work ok, so you can also choose to test it now, and take the refund if it doesnt work as expected or hoped.

I need a new laptop and would liketo know if i can play rfactor with it.
I was looking at this:
HP Pavilion g7-2005sd
  • Intel Core i7 3612QM
  • 17,3'' Scherm / 1600 x 900
  • 500GB HDD / 6GB Geheugen
  • AMD Radeon HD7670M (1GB)
€ 730,-

Is this a fair price and would it be able to run rfactor 2?
I really dont know much about computer specs so any help is appreciated. (HAS to be notebook though)

My system (2 year old, also the prices are the old prices):
I7 950 @ 3.07GHz (200 euro)
Sabertooth X58 (120 euro)
6Gb Memory (80 euro)
ATI HD6950 2Gb (210 euro)

I have a triple (3x 22' on 5040x1050 (each screen 100 euro)) screen setup, all settings on max, only the shadow on low. It runs between 40~60 fps with 29 AI driver on track.

Total price: 910 euros...

So the hardware setup above this post should be fine?
