Hi,

I'm getting an error when connecting the sTracker plugin to my external postgresql database. This is the error:

Error found in database thread: authentication method 10 not supported

I have done this in the past and it has worked fine. Can anyone suggest where I should look to fix this?

Thanks!

I guess you have too recent postgresql for the db library stracker uses.

Ok. So I got sTracker to work so it shows up but when I enter it I have an issue with my stracker not updating the HTTP-server with lap times, live map, showing online users on the server etc.. I have opened the needed ports in my router. Said "true" to "if i want to start a http server. I also did the stracker-package and uploaded it to the http-server. Still nothing. I use Content Manager server. Not sure if has anything to do compared to the original AC server. Hopefully someone can shed a light on this, and help me out. NB: Also put in the server plugin adress 127.0.0.1:12000 and local port 11000.

Okey, I got it working now! All is good.

Fault: My port 50041 & 50042 was not yet open because of ISP's router software was a little slow updating the new ports. :)

I have another small thing I was wondering about. When you look at the LIVE MAP, is it possible or how can I change the name of the car to be CAPITAL letters and not small letters? Or even change the name of the car? :) Thanks for all other help I have got in this forum :) Cheers!

Hello there,

Thanks for all your work on this. I am running a server using Empire as my host, the webstats interface does not display the live map no matter what track the server is running. Was wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a fix?

You must use the Tool stracker-packager.exe.
Put it in root Folder of your local AC and run it as administrator.
After work, ther're a ZIP file. Upload it to your stracker server over the browser.

I've tried this, but does not work for me.

Please tell us if it does for you, @PondScum101 .
Hey there,

I just sat down to finally deal with this issue. I am happy to say that this worked exactly as ennimann directed.

Some notes:

I had to copy my AC root folder to default location of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa

then extract stracker v3.5.1 into this folder, run stracker-packager as admin and it created a file called stracker-package.zip

Then run server any track any car, doesnt matter, navigate to your server's stracker web page, at the top right click admin area, login and navigate to General Admin, there is a paragraph that explains the process here. Click browse and upload the zip file that was created on your local machine. Restart server after upload and presto it works :)

Thank you @ennimann for point me in the correct direction. Hope my write-up helps others :)
