I'm not posting this on PlayDepartment since I want the RD crowd to post about the stuff we bought.

I've spent quite a lot until now - I didn't play at all on my PC for 2-3 years, tho. So I'm mostly catching up...that's what I'm telling myself, at least. If everyone could keep their list up to date in addition to posting their new purchases it would be great, it's not too lucid if everyone is making a post for each purchase - ending up with 25 posts per person.:)

This is not about boasting and posting how much you paid for each game might help others find great deals which aren't featured on the front page. It doesn't matter how much someone spent, everyone is entitled to spend as much or as little as he or she wants to!

Anyway, I just got Civilization V on this sale. Doubt I'll get anything else. I either have it already, or am not interested in it :D

Yeah, she's trying to play a sniper in every game. I think she's just bad at moving around and that's why. :p

Dungeon Defenders is currently on sale, excellent coop game. :)

First day I bought Hard Reset for 3.37€. Very fun game, if you like old school action fps. It's still -75% right now (and will be until the end of the sale).

Also bought Ys: The Oath in Felghana and YS Origin, they looked interesting. And finally Serious Sam 3 BFE Edition. I'm trying to keep the costs a bit down.

And from the current games for sale, I'd say Torchlight is a steal for 3.74€, really fun Diablo-like game, and Company of Heroes is great if you like strategy games (I don't, and even had fun playing it).

Yeah but it was on the community voted sale for the same price as well. If someone missed it it's a great offer, no doubt. :)

    Ah, hadn't noticed that.

Other than that, the Total War pack would interest me, the rest is meh.

For those who like JRPG games, the Carpe Fulgur pack is fairly interesting. I already own Recettear, and it was a blast if a bit short. If you really know what to do, and are really lucky, you can get through in 4 hours or so. Good luck doing that in your first attempt though :p It's not without faults (many faults) like the max resolution being 1280x960, but it was well worth it.

I'll be picking Chantelise and Fortune Summoners, they look good too. Carpe Fulgur did a great job with localization, so the dialogues are pretty funny. Chantelise was made by the same developer than Recettear, FS is a different one though.

So in short, if you like JRPGs, pick at the very least Recettear, I doubt you'll regret it. Can't say much about the other too, but I'll give them a try too. They can be silly if you are not a fan of japanese media though.

I got Recettear a while back, 10 hours played. Found it way too repetitive for my liking.
Twas fun actually, now that I think about it. Might install it again.

Well yeah, it can get repetitive. It's more the kind of game that you can play an hour per week or so, and feel good about it.

Also, I forgot S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is in the sale for today. If you like open world sandbox kind of games, they are supposedly pretty good (specially Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat). I got them last summer sale, and still didn't play them (because I'm the guy who gets scared of Half-Life 2 ). The "Complete mod" improves the game a lot, and corrects a lot of buts IIRC.

Haha, same with me, played just a couple of minutes of HL2 :D

In other news, Civ V I got is a bit disappointing. The AI behaviour and diplomacy is really bad, and the performance of the game itself... Horrible later in the game. I dare not save the game too, because I'd have to load it later, and all hell will break loose.
