STCC - The Game (pre-release thread)

On this site they say there is a STCC game coming. RACE 07 + STCC as a game or only STCC as expansion pack.

Sounds very interesting. Let it be true

SimBin has under the spring visited all circuits and all test days collecting information and the game is currently in full production, with a continued documentation of the cars taking place on Knutstorp this weekend under the STCC premiere.

Simbin will be at Knutstorp this weekend with their big simulator park with fifteen simulators in use that will be test driven prior to the season. The goal is to also let spectators drive an early version of the Knutstorp track.

Does anyone know if the BMS Incognito (Mercedes) is FWD or RWD ?

It appears to have the stats of the real C200 Mercedes. Just cosmetical appearance and name is lacking. (Yes, RWD)

Update on the E90 BMW transmissions/cars: They did in fact include the sequential BMW's! I just realized the west coast racing had 6 gears, and I was driving it in manual H-shifter mode thinking it was the 5 speed H-pattern.

The conclusion is thus that the info-text for the BMW's are wrong - it doesn't state the transmission type correctly for some of them. Yay!

Well the game has appeared in the "Coming Soon" part of Steams front page.

I'd expect a Monday or (next) Friday release

Does anyone know if simbin are planning a british touring car championship addon.... seeing as though it's the only major one left and would complete the set.

It's never going to happen.

Codemasters (the makers of the TOCA games) own the license for that championship and all of it supports series too.
