On 4th November the all-new Range Rover Sport set the fastest recorded time for a standard production SUV to cross the Empty Quarter desert, covering 849 km in just 10 hours and 22 minutes.

With a dangerously arid climate, no reliable water sources and an ever-shifting terrain: the Empty Quarter in the Arab peninsula is one of the harshest and most challenging desert environments on the planet.
