I see the thread has been up some time. I have not been following the forum but rather subscribing to the Season 5 thread. I was expecting there would be notice of sign-up start there! Unfortunately there was no post there that sign-ups had started.

But since you only have read the one thread you probably don't know that you have to sign up at PrestoGP.com and do some laps (preferably many) to show your pace (your best time will automatically be displayed at the site).

Ok, as we all can see we are 34 people at the moment. As I've said earlier we will make sure that everybody that are the right kind of driver and desires to join the league will get a spot. That means we are possibly looking at 2 divisions with hopefully around 17 in each. It might sound like a small crowd, but if we manage to make sure that all drivers are high quality people that strive for 100% attendance and are always well prepared it will work out very well!

To help make sure we only have the right kind of drivers with us we need to make sure we have a reliable line of communication with every single driver. So, in order to make it to "part 2" of the signing up you need to send an e-mail to the Race Director from an address you want to receive e-mails on (it is no good if you only check your e-mail once a week). You do not need to write anything in particular in the e-mail (except your name), but you need to send it as soon as possible in order to be included from race 1.

The Race Director's e-mail address (below) will not be displayed in the normal fashion and will also be removed in a few days. If you missed it, ask somebody in the list above. All this because the Race Director is afraid of "spam-bots" or whatever it is called

And of course, get the practice needed to be safe and competitive at Spa. May I recomend Anthony's setup? It is as fine as it gets

But if I can get into the V8 championship being ran later this fall, I would have to miss some rounds of this series because the two leagues overlap. I hope that's okay. Also, I don't want to be a pain or anything, but I was hoping to get into division 1. I'm by no means the fastest, but I think of myself as a safe driver. And in the 3 Spa practice events I've raced in, I was in no incidents. I also qualified on podium each time, so I feel like I have the pace for divison 1. If you don't agree, then I'm fine with division 2, I understand. Thanks!

I've alwaysed liked mature people who honoustly say what the situation is. I've seen you on track, I've observed you in forum and chat, and from what i can see you are a perfect racers that we would like to have with us!

If we end up with 2 divisions we have plenty of space and you are welcome to race in div 1 as long as it lasts. If we end up with a number of drivers very close to 25 we might sacrifice those not totally commited (yourself and Mattia).

But bottom line is that we very much want to see a lot more to you

PS: The real races will be of much higher quality than you have experienced in the practice races so far. thus it will be MUCH more fun We'll focus on quality and not quantity this season.
