Season 10 - Race 1, Istanbul - Drivers meeting

This is one of the threads that is compulsary reading for all prior to the race and where every post should be stricktly to the point.

In real life racing they always have a drivers meeting before a race where they might agree on different things, mention special considerations and such. Our equivilant is this thread, where everybody are responsible to bring attention to what is needed.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that we all remember to respect the pit exit line, regardless if there is traffic or not (standard rule, but doesn't hurt to mention again )

It seems the race will be 40 laps for many (39 for the rest?).

It is an ongoing discussion if we should have 1x, 2x or 3x tyre wear. The average wear is about 1% on each wheel each lap with 1x wear. (the debate can be continued here, not in this thread )
EDIT: We will go for 1x wear for this round

only thing i can really think about mentioning is about turn 1 lap 1, its a dodgy corner at the best of times but with 20 odd cars steaming towards it on the first lap it could be hairy, theres been a few accidents at fun races and on the server so lets be carefull.

and the run off areas, theres lots of them that enable you to keep the foot down if you go off track, if anyone goes off track then please watch re-entry to the track at high speed, watch the track map if you use it and make sure not to impede anyone else coming back on.

Would be nice if everybody can make sure to never use radiator setting at 1 in any of the races this season. Since there is no mechanical failure on Presto servers, one could drive around with a smoking engine forvever

I opened a backup server just in case I am not here to open the server in time. The password is the normal one.

I will almost certainly be there for the race, but now I must go look for serenity
