Race Points

Ondrej Kuncman, with his Precision team, and Mikko Puumalainen, with the Gamepad Racing team, have both become the round 7 winners as they tied in 84 points. Tie-breaker criteria were not enough to determine a single winner as they both shared the same lineup consisting of race winner Morgan Morand, Jeffrey Rietveld and Mikko Puumalainen himself as their only Team B driver. With his victory, Mikko Puumalainen has become the first manager to win two consecutive FSR Fantasy League rounds, while joining Simon Adebisi as they only 2-time round winners to date. Serbia's Milan Radivojevic was 3rd with 75 points.

Claiming his first round victory in the 2012 FSR Fantasy League, Ondrej Kuncman enlarged his gap at the top of the championship standings. He now leads the quest for the Thrustmaster T-Wireless 3 in 1 Rumble Force Gamepad with 555 points. Argentinian Nicolas Gschwind failed to show up in the Top 10 for the first time but remains 2nd in the standings with 504 points. With his two round-victories in a row, Mikko Puumalainen has jumped to 3rd with 429 points.

Ondrej Kuncman has joined Simon Adebisi (2x), John-Eric Saxen, Andrew Smith and Paul Boon as a contender for the Thrustmaster Dual Trigger 3 in 1 Rumble Force Gamepad that a round winner will take home at the end of the season. Mikko Puumalainen is not elegible for prizes due to holding the FSR World Championship Director position.

In a very close round from the drivers' front, podium finishers Bono Huis and Jeffrey Rietveld were the top-scoring drivers of the round with 34 points each, despite neither claiming the race victory. Race winner Morgan Morand received a post-race penalty which left him as only the 3rd top-scorer with 31 points. In a weekend where the race win, pole position and fastest lap were achieved by different drivers, it was the first 2012 FSR Fantasy League round without the race winner as its top-scorer.

Drivers' market costs were updated. Mikko Puumalainen (+600$), Gergo Baldi (+200$) and Martin Gosbee (+200$) were the drivers who climbed the costs ladder the most. Remember that the drivers that you already have on your team will continue to cost you what they did when you included them on your lineup.

If you are proud of your result on the seventh round of the FSR Fantasy League, remember you can share your achievements with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers by pressing the Facebook/Twitter icons in your My Team page!

The eighth round of the FSR Fantasy League will be the German GP on September 16th, after a well-deserved 3-week break. Remember to perform the driver transfers and swaps you need to become the next round winner!

Are you happy with the transfers/swaps you made for this round? Do you already have your next team changes planned? Did your drivers perform as expected at Monza? Let us know!
