Robin Miller longtime pit reporter has sadly passed away. Too often lately, a legendary voice in motorsports has now been silenced. What I liked about Robin is his down to earth love of auto racing from the cars, to the drivers, to the mechanics, crew and most of all the fans. He asked questions we might ask if we were so fortunate to meet our heroes of present and past with the humility of a admirer of what these athletes are capable of and a sense of humor that was real and the reaction from the subjects was genuine.
I hope that the shoes of Murray Walker, Bob Jenkins, and Robin can be filled with people that are true ambassadors as they were.
